Twitter is good to use in the classroom for many reasons.
The first reason is it can be used for online discussions and question answering; using hash tags it is easy to see a specific discussion or person.
The next reason is that if your teacher has a twitter account for the class, they can tweet out important dates, reminders and homework/ project due dates. This is valuable because it will show up on your time line while at home, making sure there is no excuse for late or “forgotten” projects and homework.
Another reason is that you can connect with others. You may not have a classmate’s email or phone number, by simply searching their name on twitter you can easily connect with them for projects, other homework assignments or any questions classroom related. If you need to ask a teacher a question, you can tweet them for easy homework help instead of never understanding the question. You can also connect with students in other futures forum projects classes in the WRDSB for project partners or help, across the city.
Next, you can learn how to get a clear and concise point across because twitter only allows for 140 characters; overall making you a better writer.
It will also help you to keep up with important news, whether it be worldwide or in the classroom. Because twitter is one of the most frequently updated sites and the information spreads quickly through tweets, and you can filter out unimportant news by searching tweeters or hash tags.Lastly You can tweet out links to websites used for in class projects, to get more traffic and for other new people to see and read your ideas. You can also spread your ideas through tweets, because if someone retweets it all of their followers will see it and be exposed to it overall getting your idea out there.
Twitter is an overall good resource to use in the classroom, and most students already have an account making it very easily accessible.

This is the Political Compass test, you answer a series of questions to find out where you stand on the political spectrum.
Considering the fact I am in the bottom left corner, I have a very Canadian political point of view.
To be honest with you, I don't know what that means.
But I know that I answered all of these questions honestly, and using my own opinion.
These are my results.
